Allegheny County Breast Collaborative (ACBC)
HISTORY & PURPOSE
The Allegheny County Breast Collaborative (ACBC) is a committed and diverse stakeholder group that was formed in 2012 and is comprised of local clinicians, academic researchers, non-profit organizations and community members. This cooperative group is building a network of breast cancer community engagement offering support, education and advocacy for underserved women in targeted neighborhoods within our region. Researchers from the University of Pittsburgh Graduate School of Public Health are also involved with ACBC conducting beneficial studies to help in the fight against breast cancer.
